Interested in joining our artist collective? We are always FREE & require none of your time in the form of meetings or other dues. We practice nonhierarchical leadership & transparency, with democratized & empowered decision-making.

Members do not need to live or work in Lawrence. We accept artists from adjacent communities in Kansas or Missouri. Many of the opportunities we circulate aren’t limited to Lawrence (i.e. state arts grants).
What does being a member mean?
Networking opportunities.
Over half of what we do is internal networking with one another on projects, events, & more. We share what we’re working on, invitations to upcoming events of mutual interest, & share opportunities related to grants, scholarships, programs, residencies, creative contests, etc. Area organizations also reach out to us with opportunities to promote within our group.
Skillsharing.
We share our skills with each other & build each other up. For example, sharing creative contract templates, proofreading each other’s resumes or art CVs, or capturing professional headshots.
Support.
Whether you’re new to the area or you’re local & looking to grow your network, we provide a community of creative & professional support. We’ve had writers accountability groups & members support each other’s shows or exhibitions, for example. Come meet new friends & collaborators!
